Welcome to Bovine Battles! Our story begins back in the Covid-19 Pandemic of 2020. Three boys, two in high school and one in middle school, were, quite frankly, bored out of their minds. With nothing but time and plenty of inspiration, the boys hangouts gradually shifted from having fun together into buisness meetings for a startup. Brennan had created a protoype board game he called Tank Attack, and after a hilarious stumbling over his words thanks to his new braces, the game was renamed Yak Attak. Soon enough, Kaeleb had created artwork for the pieces, and Talan enrolled the game in Invest Nest, Wasatch High School’s contest for entrepreneurship.

It took a ridiculous amount of time and effort, but eventually the boys scraped together a presentation that made it into Invest Nest’s top 5, earning them a thousand dollars of seed money. With that money, as the months of work turned into years, eventually, Bovine Battles LLC was born.

Creating board games had become not only a buisness idea, but a passion. Brennan cooked up gameplay ideas, Kaeleb created the artwork for games, and Talan produced marketing content for the games and made 3d models. Eventually, two finished games and some certain expansion packs were refined and put on the market as printable PDFs. Brennan graduated high school and entered college, Talan graduated high school and then college, and Kaeleb graduated high school and took over his family buisness, and all three continued to work on the company on the side, turning dreams into reality as they put together their first physically purchaseable board game, Snatch N’ Stash.
